Coverslipping film is used
High-speed coverslipping film that is capable of a maximum of 1,090 specimens per hour is used. Tissue-Tek® Coverslipping Film does not require mounting media and is capable of microscopy and digital scanning without a long wait for drying after coverslipping. It also reduces the risk of failure of the digital scanner caused by the squeezing of mounting media.
Advanced specimen protection functions
The function to detect air bubbles finds poor specimen drying and coverslipping failures caused by a lack of xylene. In addition, the function to detect the end of the film prevents the instrument from stopping during use due to a film shortage and terminates the processing in each basket.
Barcode reading function (optional)
Slide information is automatically acquired by the installation of a dedicated barcode reader (optional).
Connection with Tissue-Tek Prisma® Plus*
The instrument can be connected to the Automated Slide Stainer Tissue-Tek Prisma® Plus. Further labor saving is achieved by centralizing the staining and coverslipping.
*To connect with the Tissue-Tek Prisma® Plus, you need the optional kit (Tissue-Tek Film Connection Kit).
