The Tissue-Tek Prisma® Plus Automated Slide Stainer DRS series is an instrument that automatically stains paraffin strips, frozen strips, cells and other tissues pasted on slides.

Improved staining efficiency and speed
Link to the Tissue-Tek Glas g2 or Film
The user can link the instrument to the Tissue-Tek Glas g2 or Film Automated Glass Coverslipper. The user can set whether to link to the coverslipper in detail for each program.
Solution management by barcode
In the Tissue-Tek staining solution series, the user can manage the solution information by reading the solution name, expiration date, and lot number with a barcode reader. The user can use this information to track the staining results, together with the staining process results reports (read on CF card).
Extended station color setting function
The user can select the color of the station from 50 colors on the monitor and can also set multiple staining programs associated with the color to increase visibility.
The user can select the number of processing slides and simultaneous processing of multiple staining methods.
Three types of solution reservoirs are available: a standard solution reservoir (60 slides), a small solution reservoir (20 slides), and a special stain solution reservoir (10 slides). The instrument supports various numbers of specimens, including 10, 20, and 60 slides (20 slides × 3). When using the small solution reservoir, it is easy to perform simultaneous staining in various combinations, including H&E staining + Papanicolaou staining, H&E staining + special staining, and Papanicolaou staining + special staining.
